I am not one to wear a lot of jewellery in my posts (as you can confirm), probably because of my rl background with designing it, but sometimes, there are some pieces that are a true  inspiration for me. LaGyo work have that effect over me, this amazing necklace is part of a soon to be released ‘skulls’ collection. The little black dress!

The perfect dress, for the perfect shoes. I love myself a full black outfit, but not disregarding the fact I like it cool, modern, and a bitsy itsy cute. Sometimes, finding the perfect match for those killer shoes, is difficult. !Ohmai’s ‘shift dress’, made for 50 lindens (black) friday,  is the one.  Match made in heaven, love at first sight. I am in LOVE with the simplicity and clean cut of this dress. It feels a bit of an oriental inspiration with an obvious futuristic feel to it, and a touch of soft discrete cuteness to it, only Anya could bring us. <3 joo anypoo! The sleeves, OhmaiGOD, the sleeves…hands down my favorite little (unique) black dress ever. <3 Uma

On Directing!

hej hej! I lied. I got a few extra hours to waste, really way more than I should but I couldn’t help it. >.< lalala, So what did I do?..I changed, put some clothes on. I feel like sharing some thoughts with you while I’m at it…Sometimes, just sometimes, I have this weird feeling, I miss people in my life.  Don’t you? Sometimes people that don’t matter at all, or people  that are not part of your life anymore, nor are you part of their lives either, at all, anymore. It’s funny. We grow, they grow, things change, we change, but sometimes, just sometimes, we still miss them. Or those moments, maybe. Moments that can never ever be replaced, never be the same, prolly wouldn’t even feel the same if those people were part of it again.  Moments forever cherished, moments forever lost. Forever meaningless. I guess I’m just mellow…melancholic even. Don’t you just feel the same, sometimes?…I know I do. <3 Uma

Another one of those moments when you’ve blogged not so long ago but you really feel like doing it again, and you do.  I change too much, more than I should. I’m pretty sure if you bump into me in world I’m prolly changing or going through my invo or thinking ‘these shoes’ seriously don’t match this jacket or my mood doesn’t..especially in public, I usually don’t care where I am and I lose track of time and..shame. Lol. (btw, little daring mixing these boots with such short dress AND garters, but it DOESN’T LOOK CHEAP OK?…*insert ironic moment here* I’m a graduated artist so I can be weird looking). Anyways, do I really need an excuse for blogging again? I feel like I do. *grumpf* Plus, I guess I’m only taking pictures on the weekend sooooooo..have a nice week muah! <3 Uma

Shoe Overdose!

As you may have noticed, I’ve been blogging over at the footwear expo blog for the last few days. Along with Anessa and Phoenix, I’ve featured just some of my favorite (and must have) shoes that you can now check personally at the shoe fair (or at the blog if you’re curious). Although I loved the change I still don’t want to neglect my little space here. I wanted to feature (probably) my last choice of shoe fair shoes, the ANEXX lace up boots. OMG, Machang arigatou!!! I have had a shoe overdose the last hours and it couldn’t get any better than this. It’s like christmas at my house now…hence this fun picture I wanted to share with you. My deers love these just as much as I do <3 Uma

ATHENA!

For some time now I’ve been nagging Kookie to make ‘me’ a similar (but her own) version of the insane *couldn’t stop drooling over* (2006) Balenciaga platform boots. Little did I know she would give in (not so easy though ) to produce probably the most amazing and one of her most hard-to-get-it-just-right shoes ever. I cannot think of the words to describe what I felt when I saw these, I seriously don’t. She laughed at my incapability to stop saying ‘OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMGO OMG OMG’ over and over when I saw them (what a surprise hun), as I can’t stop looking at my feet with these on now. She did something incredible in my opinion, something that only she could, and thats not because I love her, no no. It is because she is an amazing shoe designer and one that dedicates and puts all her sweat and love in her creations, believe me. These are quite THE statement shoes and I know, they won’t please you all, but, as most unique and unusual things in fashion, they will grow on you, and they will make you think twice about fashion and you might happen to just love them, unconditionally. Or maybe I’m just a dreamer! My wish to have the balenciagas is now put to rest, because I own kookie’s. <3 Code name? Athena. Where to buy? 2009 SL® Footwear Expo, opening this sunday. <3 Uma
