Maria loves cupcakes too!

I couldn’t help but smile and squee with happyness today, when I logged in. Maria Gherardi, my favorite if not the only, portuguese designer I am a true fan of has recently created a dress with cupcakes. Knowing of my insane obsession with them she decided to call them ‘Uma loves cupcakes’, as a joke, which made me giggle with her but I am honored! The dress of course is the yummiest thing ever. It’s cute and feminine and fun to play with other pieces , since it comes as a top version (all layers possible) and,  both top and bottom are resizable. She also offers a mod version with the resizable one and there are 4 colors to choose from <3 ! Obrigada Maria!!

Irie  Campese, over at So Many Styles has also released a couple of goodies lately which I also fell in love with  so I decided to wear her crochet jacket over the cupcakes dress, I found it to give it a quirky cute look and matched perfectly. Her new releases are so worth checking out. I’ve always been a fan of her work aswell which is really eclectic, colorful, fun and thoughtful. <3 Uma

‘So retro dots’

Hi everyone! if you watch this blog often enough, you know how much of a fan I am of Miel and Mika‘s work. I have been fortunate to blog Miel since they first opened, and today, excited to let you know about their next release. I have been feeling quite lazy and uninspired so these just made my day. ‘So retro dots‘ is the name of this swimsuit line and if you’re in the mood for summer pieces, I’d say these are a true must have.  They will be out in a few hours so keep an eye out for these. Also, you might want to take your time resizing prims both in straps and top and bottom ones. You can resize each individually and I would advise you to, since we don’t all have the same body sizes, thank god. In my case I hardly had to, but I did resize the straps and bottom prim a bit. You can make it look fuller or more tight to your torso, it’s really up to you. The textures as usual are really amazing and colors go from ‘blueswell, avocado, chipboard cherry, canary spaz to pitacchio sorbet’. The color names just make me smile and for some reason, hungry ehe. Also, Miel is part of Albero’s summer fair, here’s the slurl *click here*

Six and three quarters

Omg, how I’ve been neglecting bloggyness.  6 days without blogging is equal to uma not changing in world. It is the absolute truth, I haven’t at all, and while I was feeling a bit inspired to content create in world (with all the headaches that come with it) I was also not paying attention to clothes.  I’ve been wearing my smelly rollerskates, some random shorts and for most part topless (on and off). I’m back though and I have realized I lost my mojo. Omg, if you have it, give it back to me

I started by putting the middle outfit together but I was feeling odd. If there is a word suitable for it, is odd, but strangely cute. The blue one it’s rather simple but the leggings add to oddness again, and I love it. It’s also a reminder to check drowsy sim if you haven’t been there yet. The third however, has nothing to do with the rest, and is a more ”normal”/boho look you might enjoy. I visite Malt Fashions today and I kinda missed wearing this tunic, which I’ve blogged months ago and I still truly love it. The jacket was my most recent purchase from Malt, and it matches perfectly. All prims go together and YAY for that. No re-attaching to different points. Pants on third look are from Giana’s (gigi couture) new denim collection,  and omg they’re so cute. It comes with 3 versions, one basic, and two destroyed ones, one being with military details/badges (and two bottom options rolled and normal). Holey awesomeness!

Also, both bags I’m wearing are truly a must have. One is a ‘lucky board’ item from [Kue!] and it’s super cute while the big white one is Krisha Ivanova, Dollita’s most recent release. It should be out pretty soon, if not already and it comes in 10 yummy colors. Check that. <3 Uma

What’s a girl to do?

Today I was in one of those lazy days when I didn’t want to do much but instead, I decided to clean my lm’s folder. Lol, yes because it’s one of the few things I can ‘organize’ or just clean (a.k.a delete) in my invo. So as I was going through a bunch of ‘old’ lms I decided to check a few…one tp lead to another and I was happily surprised to find some new things for my closet. The scarf is from a store I found in a random mall, and it’s really awesome. The store is called *METRONOME and the scarf is part of the ‘Pastel color scarf set‘, which come with 6 scarves for around 400L. That’s pretty reasonable if we do the maths. There’s 3 more sets to choose from, but I can’t really recall all of them. I know one is for ‘plaid’ and another for darker colors. If you love scarves as much as I do, you should check it. My second favorite thing in this outfit is the dress from this store called ***Ambrosia***. Again, random find.  I really like it and for only 80L it’s a catch. There’s also a blue version of this one which I had to get and a cute freebie dress that you might enjoy aswell.  It’s really sweet and my inspiration for this (rather pink) look.  Hope you like it <3 Uma

Late for Sushi!

Here’s a little story, I am obsessed with cupcakes! Nothing new for the ones who know me, know that I love how cupcakes shape and how they look, and how I even want to tattoo them but the ironic side of it is, I have never ate one!!! I know it’s hard to believe but it is the absolute truth. I have thought of trying to make them myself but I want like, the real thing. The funny part of it is, I am not a ‘cake’ person, I love sweets, candy mostly but not cakes. So I don’t know, if I ever eat one I might not like them and that will ruin one happy girl’s dream. Lol! So you can imagine, [ATOMIC] group gift ‘cake face skin’ was a treat for me! I not only love it, but find it really unique/creative. It comes with smudge face and a cupcake attachment, and, If you haven’t grabbed it yet, join the [ATOMIC] group (there’s a 250L fee but totally worth it), and get yours. ^^ !

Powder Puff and Snugs = <3

Hey everyone!! I’ve been soooo excited to blog this, mostly because I’ve witnessed Kookie’s creation process of these amazing shoes, and been waiting for heads up to blog them. Also, this is my first post ever for both girls and boys so yay for that. I could not resist it since, these ‘snugs‘ shoes are the first official men’s shoes Kookie made and I personally think she achieved something greater. Suede ftw! I think men will love these, either for a more formal or really casual look, they work perfectly and look amazing. I myself may consider getting them for me aswell or steal Elijah’s !

Anyways, on to what could well be one of my favorite pair of shoes EVER. The ‘Powder puff‘. These have all the features I was waiting and nagging Kookie to create, perfect high wedges, t-bars and adorable colors. They come in 8 different colors : sun gold, bordeaux, sea glass, jade, spruce, cloud, teal and peach. They are soooo sweet and sexy and cute, all at the same time. How can you resist these? Make sure you go check them..like, now. <3 Uma

When we think of summer, I at least, think of flowey dresses, fresh and delicate fabrics, prints, boho pieces, happy colors and more ‘organic’ accessories. All that reminds me being by the sea/beach or on vacation somewhere exotic. That’s what this dress from Dangerous Lace makes me think of.  The dress is called ‘Phoenix Maxi Dress‘ and it comes in 5 different colors : Lemon&chocolate, Pure&Onyx, Blush&Plum, Peach&Wine and this one, Blossom&Ocean. It will be available soon at {DL} and  It’s a great addition to your summer wardrobe if you like long flowey boho inspired dresses (skirt is also mod so you can play with it and make it smaller if you’re an editing queen ; ) and if you happen to not know Dangerous Lace, think you should check this  store. There you can find from jeans, to shorts, dresses, tops,  funky hoodies and bikinis! I have to say the bikini line is definitely worth checking. After all we’re in summer right? My favorites are the ‘plaid’ and ‘hamptons’ bikinis which you can find on second floor. I met Kaysha (owner of DL) some time ago and I can say she’s one of the nicest/easy going people I’ve ever had the pleasure to meet so I’m pretty sure the customer service will also be, just in case you need to reach her. I was planning to re-shoot this outfit in a more suitable background in world but sl has been acting like a ***** so I just gave up. Meh.

Also, Dernier cri has released some new hairs yesterday and this is a hair store I’ve been a fan of since I found it at hair fair last year, so I couldnt resist this one. All of this year’s hair fair hairs are in store now along with the new ones so YAY for friday shopping.

That’s Miss to you!

Hi! I was in a good mood when I started writting this post, but about 3 hours ago I logged into to wordpress with a msg that my posts were disabled for some odd reason. So of course, I waited, I got mad and I plurked. Not exactly in that specific order. Fortunately it didn’t take more than 3 hours for wordpress to solve the issue. Hello? could you be any slower?

Anyways on to what I came here to do. While I have much to say about wordpress I don’t about this outfit,  I just..like it. A lot. Irie Campese‘s skirt (from So Many Styles) was my inspiration. I probably own almost every highwaisted skirt in sl and I have plenty in my other life too, so you know I love them. This one has a very retro feel to it and I thought  it would go pretty well with this shirt. I added a little vest to it so that only the shirt prims would show.  I feel kinda ‘naked’ without socks, lol, for some reason I just wear them a lot but I wanted this look to be simple and with not a lot of clashing colors. The Q-steps from Periquita are another favorite shoes (I’m all for the t-bars!) and I thought an updo would suit this look better. !lamb‘s ‘unbirthday’ hair which I love and have not featured yet, seemed perfect. Also, another great addition to your inventory, would be these poses, imo. I was sent a little pack and have to say they work great. I’m using two of [Lyndz-Matic] poses which will be available soon.
