It’s been fun…but it’s time to move on!

Hi guys. I’ve taken a little time off bloggin, due to rl being oh so busy and so tiring but the main reason I went BRB, was because I wasn’t sure about the future of this blog. I’ve considered kepting it until I could at least celebrate two years of blogging, but as days passed by and thoughts became more clear, I have painfully decided to retire. I hate goodbyes just as much as I hate doubting myself or my decisions. I am 99% sure I won’t come back, but it’s those 1% that are fuckin’ screwing with my brain. Will I miss it? Hell yeah. It’s been amazing and so so so rewarding, I’ve met the most beautiful people through blogging, cherished all my followers, all the kind words and even the most harsh not so polite ones. I will always be grateful for the way you have accepted me in the blogging comunity, for all the support and I am still humble by the way this blog grew and for the people who kept and still keep checking it. Through all this pixel blog journey, I have witnessed some great bloggers start their own journey, I have become a fan of their work too and I am proud and thankful to have become friends with some. So I’m kinda passing the torch here, taking a permanent break, leaving some space for future bloggers which will definitely do a better job at it than I would ever. I have a few projects in hand, including a rl blog, so it’s definitely not a goodbye more of a …see you soon. You know you can reach me in world, whenever, for whatever. Muah.

[LeLutka]…Distinctly I remember it was in the bleak December

It’s been a while…I have not been so overwhelmed with a collection like I was with Lelutka’s. Not a surprise? There were a couple of things that made this sunday, an epic fashion day.  From the background music (which was perfect), the organization (which was flawless), the detail of making the guests dress in same outfit (decreasing the lag and suiting the mood of the show), to the models structing their way down the runway, and letting us (poor slow rezzers) see the details of each outfit, and of course the whole Lelutka collection. Adding to all this, I was thrilled to see a good friend (anya ohmai) doing an amazing collab with LeLutka and being able to show (to a wider clientele) her awesome skills and creativity! What a breathe of fresh air there!..I was especially surprised with the attention on the details of each outfit. The harnesses, the shown skirt cages, neck pieces, corsets! Details that made this collection rarely unique, from all I’ve seen so far in sl. From ancient roman inspiration  (in metal torso and helmet coverages but without the obvious drapping inspiration) , to victorian details like corsets and lace and inspirations like alexander mcqueen’s aw 09, and even more futuristic cyborg-ish details or the balmain shoulders… Lelutka’s collection incorporated all the ‘rl trends’, feathers, metal, fringes, spikes, lace, flower prints, nude tones, shoulder pads, not so understated accessories, in one concize collection. The best part of this, is knowing, it can all be mixed and matched and worn in a more ‘day to day’ basics or (and) by any kind style we’re into. Try it, have fun. <3 Uma

A little tribute to one of my favorite designers (since I first joined sl) and because Antonia is doing a sale (go check)..I thought i’d put a look together, with Artilleri pieces. Oh oh, I just thought I’d give her 50’s inspired pieces a little twist and push it a bit too much with the high waisted bikini bottoms as…super tiny shorts
